Reflections
Some cars are finished. Rat rods are discovered.
Rat rods have always caught my attention because they expose a different kind of creativity.
You can't just order some of these ideas and bolt them on. Someone had to look at a part that belonged somewhere else—or maybe didn't belong on a car at all—and see a possibility.
That's what makes walking around them feel a little like a scavenger hunt.
Look long enough and you'll find it.
The thing that makes you stop.
On this one, it was a Dos Equis bottle being used as the radiator overflow.
Someone thought of that.
And that's the part I love.
