Reflections
Sometimes the best view of the show isn't from the crowd.
The old stage had a way around the back where I could slip behind the performers and peek a lens through.
There wasn't a huge crowd that night, but you wouldn't know it from the show. He played like the place was packed.
From where I stood, the lights erased his face and left only the silhouette.
I liked the mystery of that.
For a moment, it didn't really matter who was onstage. It was simply a performer, under the lights, giving the room everything he had.
